The US has got the West believing that uranium enrichment alone, an "inalienable right" under the NPT, is the equivalent of nuclear weapons development. We've been leaning on the International Atomic Energy Agency to keep pick, pick, picking on Iran. Naturally, they bristle and push back. Sure, they probably want nukes, but they've been stalled out since A.Q. Khan's procurement network was busted. Furthermore, no one's got a clue where they might be doing their covert work.
