Prior to 1948 nobody wanted the land we now call Israel. Jews have lived in Israel ever since Abraham. The "Palestinians" don't & never have been from that region. The US has NEVER fought a war for Israel. Israel has NEVER started a war. EVERY war Israel has been in since 1948 they have fought alone (with the help of G-D) against an overwhelming Arab joint attack. Israel has given up "land for peace" several times, (Gaza, Sinai, West Bank, part of Jerusalem, to name a few), and the Arabs have NOT honored the treaty. The terrorists are not interested in "land for peace", they want every Israeli DEAD. And I might add, the next target would be the US, the great Satan. If the Arabs laid down their guns today, there would be peace. If Israel laid down there guns today, they would be exterminated tomorrow. As Golda said, "there won't be peace in Israel until the Arab mothers love their children more than they hate Jews". This "blame Israel" & "Blame America" mentality is laughable. The land of Israel covers less than 1/2 of 1% of the Middle East. Israel has no obligation to give up a single square inch but they have to make peace and it didn't yield peace. When it comes to US aid to Israel, Some don't know what they're talking about. Israel has also developed technology that has benefited the US greatly. Israel is the ONLY stabilizing factor in the Middle East. I could go on & on but trying to teach a pig to sing is only a waste of time and annoys the pig."~Truth teller!" Israel has done in the middle east what no Arab country has ever done, made a country that has prospered even with 100,000,000 Arabs surrounding them, threatening them, attacking them in 5 wars, even on Yom Kippur the holiest day in Judaism. .They have given the world more technological advances in science, physics, medicine and others than any country but the united states. They have won more Nobel prizes in these categories than any country but the US and they only have 10 million people there. They have made the desserts bloom when Arabs did nothing with the same ground,They have built a modern state ,while Arabs suffer under their Islamic dictators , kings and tyrants there Arab/Muslim population lives a better quality of life there than in any Arab country.Muslims are allowed to practice their religion freely, .If the tables were turned Jews would be slaughtered by the millions. I get so tired of Palestinian/Arab apologists who spread lies about Israel. If Israel were left alone to live in peace, and Arab/Muslims spent the billions on infrastructure of their respective countries, and educate the masses they would also do better. Israel would never fire on one Arab, if they were left alone in peace. Arabs want them dead, Arabs want Americans dead.
