McCain's self perception problems

McCain's life is characterized by underachievement. He's the cliche playboy scion of a distinguished military family. However, he was not personally wealthy until he got involved with Cindy. Now, although he has enough money at his disposal, he is still regarded by the moneyed crowd as their pimp, always available to do their bidding. His obvious love affair with all things military and his deeply held belief that poor and middle class rubes should sign up and serve their country, and his equally firm belief that the fundamental mission of the military is to serve the interests of the wealthy is frightening. But he believes that becoming president will place him solidly in the core of the moneyed classes. Poor fool. He will never be one of them, but his presidency will never stop trying to serve them. - David

Glad to see someone can still defend a man who's prayer director is caught in bathroom stalls or rub and tugs. Bigotry amongst the religious republicans is at an all time high.

MuckCain has no personal moral standard outside or Rowe polling. That has changed and he is less of a man than 8 years ago.

You are starting to sound like Jethro barking at his hounds. - Jr. Elephant

McCain and honor don't mix

One thing that CNN conveniently did not mention when they did their analysis after the forum with Rick Warren is that McCain arrived at the church just 30 minutes before taking the stage which means he had the opportunity to hear the questions for the first 30 minutes of the program on his way to the church so he was prepared answers. CNN was notified of the time McCain arrived at the church but made no mention of it, instead they went on and on about how sharp McCain was in answering the questions. It should be noted that some of his responses toward the end of the program did not really answer the questions, instead he used the program to give his stump speech instead of talking about his faith as was intended. It's abvious his limited brain can only process war and wealthy women. One thing that is guaranteed is McCain administration will get this country into another dumb war. McCain is basically Bush on steroids. Think about where this country is now, white house scandals, coruption, cowboy foreign policy, and all, put all that on steroids. - Nicky

"Above Your Pay Grade?" Give me a break. Whatever happened to "The Buck Stops here" Senator?

CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times have tried to keep the American voter in the dark in terms where Obama stands on many important issues. Thank goodness Rick Warren, a Pastor has done what many reporters have refused to do; that is ask Obama some tough questions regarding where he stands on the issues facing this nation. It is ironic that the Main Stream media has caused the Church to inherit a permanent place as a legitimate venue in future Presidential election debates. Thank you CNN! Your hidden agenda just backfired!

And what about that wimpy answer from Obama regarding his pay grade? Why can't you just be a man and tell it like it is Senator Obama? Why do you feel obligated to hide your true intentions behind an accomplished speechwriter and an unusually good ability to read flowery speech from a teleprompter?
