			<title>Colin Powell made his &quot;Faustian Bargain&quot;</title>
			<link>http://atlanticfreepress.com/news/1/2918-driving-miss-condi.html#comment-3757</link>
<description>Poor Colin may have been &quot;set up&quot; by the scheming Condi. Well, so what? Powell sold out his soul when he backed Bush's criminal war ON Iraq. As a military man, he surely had misgivings about the war but he kept a lid on it because he enjoyed the ego trip of being Secy of State. With his then-enormous prestige and bipartisan respect amongst the American public, Powell could have put the brakes on this mad rush to war. But he gutlessly kept his mouth shut. Now, nearly 4000 deaths later and many thousands more maimed for life. . . Powell still keeps his cowardly silence. You want to talk about being set up? Powell set up our soldiers as victims. I will reserve my sympathy and support for them. . . Powell is living the high life now on his generous pension and corporate board memberships. I wonder how he can sleep at night . . . - Eriekayaker</description>
