			<description>My greatest fear is that as my wife and I enter retirement this year, our generous pension funds are tied to this juggernaut I have no faith in at all. Sure, we have some physical bricks-and-mortar assets too (including onwing our own home outright), and if the Dow fell 50% we wouldn't starve, and we are very conscious of our carbon footprint, and try to be very conservative. But it is still appalling to have to actually want and need the whole investment crazy-money edifice to succeed forever, just so we can put our feet up at our favourite beach.
