Fair enough, Nick Griffin's performance on Question Time was absolutely dismal. But then again, it was always going to be. For example, all five panelists were hostile toward him, the audience was carefully hand-selected with 99 percent against the BNP. The format of the show was clearly designed to 'catch him out'; there was a complete failure in discussing the issues of the day because all the panelists were so preoccupied with the topic of 'RACE'. The location of the show was conveniently switched last minute to a more 'multicultural city' as a deliberate ploy to antagonise him. Conveniently, they prepared a seat for him right next to a 'black woman' (who seemed to be very pleasant) as if this occurred by 'natural chance'. The whole show stunk of political correctness in terms of how it was staged, executed and managed.

To understand how Nick Griffin must have felt and the situation he was placed in - just reverse the logic altogether. Imagine good old school boy 'Jack Straw' being placed among an audience full of BNP/UKIP supporters - with a panel full of BNP/UKIP panelists. Needless to say, I very much doubt if Jack Straw or the rest of them for that matter would have fared much better.

This is precisely why I refuse to vote for any mainstream party. They are CONTROL FREAKS who prevent democracy in it's real form from emerging. They offer the public no real choice when it comes to important issues, like having a referendum on our membership to the EU, mass-immigration into the country, etc. Everything is determined and controlled from above; our lordly masters deciding the futures of the peasants beneath them!

At some point, in the future, this country is going to reach crisis point whether we like it or not. It's only so long the political elite can hide behind the cloak of 'progressiveness' before reality starts kicking. - Leigh Harwood

The manner in which Nick Griffin was treated on Question Time was profoundly appalling. Quite frankly, I think every political party currently in existence is simply not up to the job of running this country. They are all 'too progressive in their mindset' and too politically-correct to even begin to approach the real, underlying issues which adversely affect society. It's the same words and phrases used all the time: 'change', 'MOVING FORWARD', 'we're in it together', 'team players', etc. etc, etc. I really do believe that the BNP have a range of very refreshing policies in their manifesto that the other political parties would not dare contemplate, given their politically-correct approach to dealing with affairs of state and political life. Granted, the BNP are far from perfect - but I much prefer their form of democracy over the current system of suppressing dissent and alternative viewpoints. I think people would be wise to remember that it was not the BNP who took this country to war with IRAQ; it isn't the BNP who have brought terrorism home to this country; it isn't the BNP who have allowed mass-immigration to spiral out of control; it wasn't the BNP embroiled in the expenses scandal, but all the mainstream parties; it isn't the BNP who bailed out the self-serving and greedy bankers at the expense of the tax payer; it isn't the BNP currently interfering in the political and social affairs of 'Libya'; another pointless exercise in itself! I COULD GO ON FOREVER IN A DAY! It's amazing to me how quickly people are prepared to judge the BNP, particularly Nick Griffin, and yet turn a convenient blind eye to the 'MENACES' who currently occupy the broad political spectrum of political life. Compared to the mainstream political parties, and their same old bullshit MOTTO'S, I find the BNP somewhat refreshing in comparison. At least they call a spade a spade and remain true to themselves, unlike the 'other lot' who are endlessly changing their policies to gain public favour at any given moment. - Leigh Harwood

Well said countryman.
To take it a step further, maybe the original article was written by a BNP agent provocateur, so barmy were the ideas contained within, so shallow the thought process, so self-loathing the sentiment. Nobody actually thinks that way in real life, do they? - Tailgunner

I agree. Of those BNP members and sympathisers I've met, I've never known anyone who expressed such a vile opinion.

I want my country back, but I wish harm on no one. I find it hard to believe that anyone who is at least reasonably balanced could truly believe in those words written above.

Either that contributor is a left-wing agent provocateur attempting to smear nationalist politics, or it is someone who has allowed their anger and hatred to cloud any rational thought processes. - countryman

When the Labour party is guilty of treason, the Conservatives present the most powerful Muslim women on question time, an evil looking human being with a clear hidden agenda and the word Liberal is a swearword to any sensible voter. Who else is there, but the BNP who have shown theirselves to speak their mind on behalf of the Brtish indiginious people and to speak the truth, the other parties say nothing of the main problem facing Britian "Immigration" - Andrew

Labour sending BACK immigrants?

By all accounts the population of Britain is growing and is set to reach 75 million within 20 years. It is officially stated that this population growth is because of immigration from outside of Europe. So how does that fit in with what this silly article says about Labour sending back immigrants. Really they are shipping them here as fast as they can. Why would Labour have a problem with immigrants? Labour is not an ethnonationalist party. It is internationalist and seeks to destroy the diversity of ethnicities in the world by favouring a mixed up slave population that is powerless against exploitation. How anyone who is seriously socialist could favour that is beyond me. Socialism is an intrinsic part of nationalism, tribalism, family-ism. We are all naturally programmed to care for our own kind. Mixing people up leads to a society where everyone only looks after number one, cares nothing for the poor and even leads to them pimping out their own kids, or maiming them so as to get more money while begging, as happens in India. Such is the malign outcome of this influx of heterogeneousness. All western values are under attack and we face hell on earth if we don't establish nationalism amongst European nations. - Jane

Despite the seemingly never ending name calling the party seem to get, despite the odd dubious policy, I think it is the only party that will actually do or try to do what it says it will if given the chance! - Beverley

Above, Gary Aronsson wrote:

"And before you try and trot out that old chestnut about needing their skills, could you please explain how British people are unable to pick cockles, pick fruit, work in pubs in London or work in the building industry?"

Quite right. I'm sick to the back teeth of the defeaning silence over this point.

Since New Labour came to power, unemployment has never been below 1.4 million. In recent times, that is an historically low figure. Nevertheless, even that figure is unacceptably high in a so-called developed country such as our own.

We have never needed immigrants en masse to 'do the jobs that we won't do' - that old left-wing lie. That has been used as an excuse to support the Marxist multicultural agenda. And, who has paid for it? We have. Who suffers in socio-economic terms because of it? We do.

For crying out loud, who dug potatoes, built spitfires and lancaster bombers, laid railway tracks, and did all manner of unpleasant and difficult jobs during WWII? Our women did. We managed then, and, it is a lie that we can't manage now.

The first duty of any state is to protect and care for its own people. What this government and their predecesors have done to this country, how they have undercut their own workforce is nothing less than treason. - countryman

Can you smell change in the air? I certainly can, we all know Nick Griffins core values "mein kampf", and we all know who he is friends with AKA the KKK, its all a twist of words my good friend. to gain the public support you need to wear business suits. take a look at National Socialism globally and how its thriving in each country, your running out of options, time to resort to old school fascist tactics?? My point is, a 4th Reich could not have been acomplished withought your help, so I congratulate you on screwing up the county. Truth and Justice will shatter your filthy communist Capitalism, Think for a second and take time to understand and see past the lies.
Your article is ample proof of the fact that cousins shouldn't marry. You hate the white working class for not wishing to increase their poverty by supporting the continued increase in the working population and thus a massive fall in the wages paid by employers.
Your confidence in the moral superiority of your argument over theirs is based upon the fact that your publicly funded, and very tall, ivory tower allows you to gaze down upon this mess from a very safe height.I wonder if your enthusiasm for mass migration and ever lower wages for the indigenous working class would survive your having to sacrifice any part of your own Grauniad lifestyle?Would you like to share my poverty rather than express sympathy for immigrants who add to it just by being here? And before you try and trot out that old chestnut about needing their skills, could you please explain how British people are unable to pick cockles, pick fruit, work in pubs in London or work in the building industry? And why do we never see any demands about the need for cheap foreign accountants, lawyers, journalists, doctors or social workers? - Gary Aronsson

Following Nick Griffin's appearence on question time people seem more willing to discuss immigration. As far as I am concerned it is the only real issue that matters. Nearly everything else is impacted by it, housing, education, crime, community, jobs etc. A vote for the BNP is the only way people can protest against mass uncontrolled immigration! - John
