According to the "Tareekh Osama [Osama's History], a document found on a computer during a police raid on the Benevolence International Foundation in Sarajevo, the "best brothers" of the World Islamic Front can advance to the inner circle of al Qaeda if they are found worthy in the test camp and meet all of the following requirements: * An open-ended commitment * Listens and is obedient * Good manners * Referred from a "trusted side" * Obeys statutes and instructions of al-Qaeda * Pledges the following: The pledge of God and his covenant is upon me, to listen and obey the superiors, who are doing this work, in energy, early-rising, difficulty, and easiness, and for his superiority upon us, so that the word of God will be the highest, and His religion victorious. But there is no correlation between al Qaeda and the World Islamic Front. Al Qaeda was made up by the US to justify their actions abroad. Please tell that to any of the families who lost loved ones as a result of our made up organization's actions. Who also referred to themselves as al Qaeda in their video taped execution of an American Reporter. Since we can't have a war on a tactic, I guess we should stop fighting the war on poverty as well. We should continue to let jobs be automated and others not be able to earn income to support themselves. We should do away with the Salvation Army so the homeless and poverty stricken just suffer in the rags of clothes they already wear, and never have the hope of a warmer coat or shoes. Since we can't have a war on a tactic, let's stop fighting world starvation. I guess we should stop the soup kitchens and tell the farmers to stop over producing grain as we won't be sending it to Haiti or Somalia or India. Since we can't fight a tactic, I guess we can close all the schools because ignorance is a tactic to keep the low on the ground and raise the others above their station. But it's a tactic, so we can't fight it. Listen to how easily your theory is destroyed by simply looking past the agenda it was designed for. Following the insipid words of an idiot who also spews forth more agenda than fact in his publications. Do you want to know why statistics are bull shit? Because, and even Dr. T has said this in her commentary, the numbers and "facts" can be colored to declare whatever the agenda of the writer wants them to be. Ron Paul's writings are exactly that! An agenda. I end this by saying again, if you went to eat somewhere and didn't care for the menu you would most likely leave. It's logical to do so. You are not going to get what you want out of the place so find a place that caters to your palate. Likewise, if my country irritates you so much, if we are a conspiracy of bullies, go somewhere else. Leave. You know why people don't leave the United States of America? Do you know why people strive to leave their own country and come here? Because if Dr. T lived elsewhere, and wrote how she does about the government she lived under in any other country in the world, she could be put to death for treason. It happens all the time. But here in the USA we have the very first rule of our government, the very first law our forefathers decided to put into place, was a right to speak your peace without fear of punishment. Again, you should enjoy that liberty on your dime, not mine. As I choose to not listen to the political bullshit, I will not pay a tuition fee to listen to statements I know to be false. That is understandable given the level of his investment in the state economically and psychologically. I thank my student who has commented here and would add that she reflects the feedback and evaluations of the majority of my students. To clarify my position on groups such as "Al-Queada" I would offer the history of the USA/CIA support with money and training to help the mujahadeen in Afghanistan during the 1970-80s. According to Chalmers Johnson and many others it was the CIA who named Bin Laden's group "The base" or Al-Quaeda" (http://hnn.us/articles/1491.html). Bin Laden calls the group he supports The World Islamic Front. In fact she teaches us the truth, we learn why we have wars, why people live in poverty, and we learn to educate ourselves and not be herded like sheep. If you really believed there were two sides to every coin then you wouldn't make comments like "get out of my country." I understand that there are 2 sides to every coin. But I have been shown several of the assignments that Dr. Terpstra has given her students. I have read the critiques she has written on their papers. Dr. Terpstra doesn't believe in Al Qaeda or foreign terrorists. Dr. Terpstra believes that all the evil is here in her own backyard. To that I say, if you don't like it here then get the hell out of my country. Dr. Terpstra teaches propaganda to her students. She has no factual basis for what she says. She spouts off a political agenda trying, as she says, to deprogram her students from the radical teachings that we have all been brainwashed with. Dr. Terpstra is no better than the people she protests. If she were a good teacher she would teach both sides of the coin and let the adults in her college courses make up their own minds without the biases she shoves down their throats. She sickens me with the anti-American balderdash that spews forth from her blogs, her teachings, and the blind mass of conspiracy theorists that she leads like sheep. God bless the USA for allowing it's Bill of Rights, it's Constitution, and it's Government for continuing to allow us the freedom to say whatever the hell we want. But I think if you are going to lead in a classroom, put fancy letters before or after your name (Dr.), and really want to make a difference in this country, then you have a social responsibility to teach the truth based upon the available facts.
